เรื่องย่อ

หนังนักสืบผสมฉากแอ็คชั่นกำลังภายในของบุรุษนามว่า ตี๋เหรินเจี๋ย ในภาคที่แล้วกับตอนว่า ดาบทะลุคนไฟ สามารถกอบโกยเงินในบ้านเกิดไปได้มาก แถมคำวิจารณ์ก็ออกมาค่อนข้างโอเคอีกด้วย ว่าแล้วจะไม่มีภาคต่อได้อย่างไร แต่ในภาคต่อนี้ขอย้อนกลับไปในสมัยหนุ่มๆ ของเขาแทนใน Young Detective Dee : Rise of The Sea Dragon ผลงานเรื่องล่าสุดของสุดยอดผู้กำกับจีน ฉีเคอะ (โปเยโปโลเย, เดชคัมภีย์เทวดา) นำแสดงโดยดาราและนักร้องสุดฮิตของจีน อาทิ แอนเจล่า เบบี้, คิมบอน กับเรื่องราวเมื่อจักรพรรดินี วู ออกคำสั่งให้เรือรบเดินทางไปยังอาณาจักรแบกแจ ซึ่งเป็นพันธมิตรเก่าแก่เพื่อช่วยเหลือจากการถูกบุกรุกโดยกองกำลังบูเย้า ที่อาจจะมุ่งหน้ามาที่ประเทศจีนได้แต่ก่อนที่พวกเขาจะออกจากท่าเรือกองกำลังเรือรบกลับถูกเงาลึกลับจากใต้น้ำทำลายลง ชาวเมืองลั่วหยางต่างเชื่อว่ามังกรทะเลเป็นต้นเหตุของเรืองนี้ และจะต้องทำการบูชายัญหญิงสาวบริสุทธิ์ที่สวยที่สุดในเมืองเพื่อลดความพิโรธและเพื่อเอาใจมังกรทะเล แต่จักรพรรดินีไม่เชื่อเรื่องพวกนี้จึงออกคำสั่งให้ทำการสืบสวนว่าใครอยู่เบื้องหลัง และประจวบกับที่ตี๋เหรินเจี๋ย เดินทางยังเมืองลั่วหยางพอดี การสืบสวนชนิด และผจญภัยแบบแฟนตาซีและลึกล้ำในจินตนาการจึงเริ่มขึ้น
