ธอร์ โลกาทมิฬ สานต่อเรื่องราวการผจญภัยบนจอใหญ่ของธอร์ อเวนเจอร์ผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ ผู้ที่ต่อสู้เพื่อปกป้องโลกและดินแดนทั้ง 9 จากศัตรูลึกลับที่หมายจะครอบครองจักรวาล ในการต่อสู้จาก ธอร์ ภาค 1 และ มาร์เวลส์ ดิ อเวนเจอร์ส ธอร์ ต่อสู้เพื่อนำความสงบ กลับมาสู่จักรวาล แต่ชนเผ่าโบราณที่นำโดย มาเลคิธ ผู้เคียดแค้น ได้กลับมา เพื่อทำให้จักรวาลกลับเข้าสู่ความมืดมิดอีกครั้ง การเผชิญหน้ากับศัตรูที่แม้แต่ โอดิน และ แอสการ์ด ไม่สามารถรับมือได้ ธอร์ต้องมุ่งหน้าสู่การเดินทางที่เต็มไปด้วยอันตรายและเป็นส่วนตัว เมื่อการเดินทางครั้งนี้ได้นำเขากลับมาพบกับเจน ฟอสเตอร์ และบังคับให้เขาต้องเสียสละทุกสิ่งอย่างเพื่อปกป้องพวกเราทั้งหมด
