จอร์ช (แพทริค วิลสัน) และ เรไน (โรส เบิร์น) คือคู่สามี-ภรรยาที่ใช้ชีวิตอยู่กับลูกๆ ทั้งสาม แต่เมื่อลูกชายตกอยู่ในอาการโคม่าโดยไม่ทราบสาเหตุ
ทั้งสองก็สัมผัสได้ถึงเหตุการณ์เหนือธรรมชาติในบ้านหลังที่อาศัยอยู่ และพบว่า ร่างของลูกชายเป็นแหล่งพลังงานของความชั่วร้าย
